SRS Grand Cayman Supports 1 Billion Rising

Knowing that focusing on gender-based violence is not a one-day effort, Renata Kecskes of RenataK Self-Protection Int. put together the 1 Billion Rising event to generate awareness and give women a chance to gather and discuss and celebrate their lives. The 1 Billion Rising campaign is a global initiative that launched in 2012 as a call to action based on startling statistics that 1 in 3 women on the plan will be assaulted in her lifetime. SRS Cayman is proud to sponsor an event that shows there is no place for violence. For more information on 1 Billion Rising please check out their website. 1 Billion Rising
