Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) today announced the launch of Strategic Risk Solutions Europe (SRS Europe),a firm established in Dublin, Ireland to serve US and European multinational captive insurance owners operating in Europe. The firm is to provide a full range of risk consulting and captive insurance management services.
As an independent firm, SRS Europe is to support its clients in a collaborative and innovative manner and to foster and develop new ideas. Mr. Stuart King joins as Managing Director and co-founder of SRS Europe. He will initially lead and oversee the firm’s operations in the start-up phase as the captive management leadership and service teams mature and any regulatory licenses are obtained. Mr. King will then lead the risk consulting business and focus on the provision of new generation multinational risk finance advisory services and the identification of opportunities in the evolving insurtech space.
Mr. King has held risk finance advisory and insurance and captive management positions at the two largest global brokerage firms in addition to having experience of financial, regulatory and capital reporting of structured finance solutions at a large global reinsurer. In 2013, he founded RENEVATIO, a successful privately held advisory firm. Mr. King is also a co-founder of the Blockchain Association of Ireland.
