Strategic Risk Solutions (“SRS”; “the Company”), the world’s leading independent insurance company manager, announced today that Anna Pereira has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS). Pereira takes up her role on March 1, 2021.
Based in Bermuda and reporting to Managing Director Jonathan Reiss, Pereira will be responsible for supporting SRS’s ongoing expansion in the ILS and fund administration sectors.

Pereira has over 25 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance, alternative risk transfer and capital markets in Bermuda. She is currently a Director and co-founder of MANA Consulting Ltd. and for the last six years has specialized in ILS and collateralized reinsurance for transformer entities and fronting carriers.
Pereira was Head of Treasury for Horseshoe Group and, prior to that, was Head of Captive and Insurance Banking at HSBC Bank Bermuda Ltd. where she was instrumental in leading the bank’s ILS initiative and record growth in Bermuda and the US.
Pereira has held various underwriting positions with Chubb Financial Solutions, Quanta Re, and Everest Re in Bermuda and has experience in financial guarantee, financial lines and casualty insurance/reinsurance underwriting. She currently leads marketing and overseas promotion for ILS Bermuda Ltd., which operates as a non-profit organization. She has served on ILS Bermuda’s Steering Committee since its inception.
Pereira studied Management Economics at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and holds an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.
