Concord, MA, March 5th, 2024 – Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, today announced that experienced ART leader Jan Bachmann will be joining SRS Altitude as Chief Underwriting Officer effective April 1st.
In this role, Mr. Bachmann will oversee Altitude’s underwriting portfolio as well as being responsible for structural solution design and underwriting diligence across all types of non-standard solutions.

Mr. Bachmann, formerly of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, brings to Altitude more than 20 years of leadership and execution experience. Jan has held various technical and leadership positions across underwriting, natural catastrophe modeling, and alternative risk transfer. Jan holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Zurich.
