Current Responsibility
Chris Evans is the Chairman and former Cheif Executive Officerof SRS Barbados. In this role he provides on-going strategic advice in the operation of the firm in Barbados as well as working with a number of Barbados domiciled clients. Chris works closely with Kirk Cyrus in overseeing the next stage of SRS’s development in Barbados.
Experience
Chris was formerly principal and founder of CGE Group of Companies (CGE), which was acquired by Strategic Risk Solutions in 2017. Following the acquisition, Chris served as CEO of SRS Barbados until May 2020. Chris started CGE in 2003 and grew the company into a successful independent captive manager in Barbados. A former F.C.C.A. who qualified with Coopers & Lybrand, Chris has been in international business services in Barbados since 1987 and has been very active on the industry associations for many years.

Current Responsibility
Kirk Cyrus is the Managing Director of SRS Barbados. In this role he oversees a portfolio of approximately 30 companies and 9 staff all located in Barbados. He is responsible for business development and management of SRS’s captive and insurance management business in Barbados.
Experience
Kirk joined SRS as Managing Director in May 2020. He has over 20 years of experience in the Barbados captive management industry. Prior to SRS, Kirk served as Director and Executive Vice President of JLT Insurance Management (Barbados) Ltd leading all aspects of the company’s captive management operations in Barbados, including through to its integration with Marsh Management Services (Barbados) Ltd, following the acquisition of JLT. Prior to JLT, Kirk spent 8 years with Marsh as an Account Executive overseeing a portfolio of clients including the insurance subsidiaries of many Fortune 500 corporations. Kirk started his career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked with clients in the Finance, Investment, Insurance, Manufacturing, Commercial Banking, Retail and Real Estate sectors.

Experience
Shawn is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants having placed 1st overall in Barbados in the December 2000 exams. He worked and qualified with KPMG and has been working in international financial services sector in Barbados since 2000.
