Brady Young, Managing Director and President
Brady is a founding member of SRS having been with the company since its inception in 1993. During this time he has established SRS in a leadership position in the alternative market. He is responsible for the overall strategic development of the firm. Together with Brent Clark, he led the management buy-out of SRS to establish the company as an independent entity in August 2002. Brady has over 20 years experience in the captive, alternative risk and risk management industries. Prior to SRS, Brady was a Principal with Tillinghast – Towers Perrin, a leading risk management consulting firm, where he managed the London, Boston and Toronto offices. Brady has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Insurance degree with studies in international business from Georgia State University.
Wayne Cowan, Director and Vice Chairman, SRS Cayman
Wayne is responsible for new business development and relationship management. Wayne was the former Managing Director of JLT Cayman. Prior to leading JLT's Cayman operations, Wayne was the Managing Director of Johnson and Higgins and Marsh's operations in Cayman. He has served as an active member of the Private Sector Consultative Committee (an advisory body to Government on all major legislation) and was a member of the executive committees of both the Cayman Island Society of Professional Accountants (CISPA) and the Cayman Insurance Managers Association. Mr. Cowan is the Treasurer of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Graham Lamb, Director - Bermuda Operations
Graham is responsible for providing accounting, financial, analytical and consulting services to SRS’s Bermuda captives. Graham has over 10 years experience in captive insurance and accounting. Prior to joining SRS, Graham was Assistant Vice President at Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd. for 5 years where he worked with captive insurance companies as well as taking on the role of Financial Controller for a UK subsidiary company based in Bermuda. Graham has also worked as a Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, Bermuda as well as an Assistant Manager at KMPG, Newcastle, England. Graham has a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
Kathryn Marsh, Director
Kathryn Marsh is responsible for the delivery of captive consulting services with a focus on the South East. Prior to joining SRS, Kathryn was Principal of Risk Design Group, a specialty alternative risk financing consulting practice. She has also been employed as a consultant within the Structured Risk Financing Group of KPMG and AON, where she headed the company's regional quantitative and alternative risk groups, and was Chair of the company's Captive Council. Kathryn has also spent a number of years managing captive insurance companies in Bermuda and was the Director of Risk Management for a major global computer manufacturer. Kathryn has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the College of Insurance in New York and a MBA with a major in Finance and Multinational Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
Michael O’Malley, Managing Director
Mike is responsible for the delivery of SRS consulting services, including statistical loss and exposure analyses, feasibility studies, and financial analysis for captives and other types of risk financing programs. Mike has over 10 years experience in the captive and insurance industries and has written several articles on captives and alternative risk financing techniques. Prior to joining SRS he worked as a Commercial Lines Production Underwriter for an insurance brokerage. Mike has also worked as a Staff Accountant for a large advertising firm. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in Finance/Economics from Bentley College and an MBA (magna cum laude) with concentrations in entrepreneurship and finance from Babson College. He holds Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations.
Ron Sulisz, Director, SRS Cayman
Ron is responsible for the management and supervision of client accounts, including financial and regulatory reporting and special assignments related to SRS's captive management programs in the Cayman Islands. He has over twelve years experience managing insurance companies. Ron is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Cayman Islands National Insurance Company Ltd (“CINICO”). Prior to being the CEO of CINICO, Ron worked in Bermuda, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands managing captive insurance companies for Marsh and HSBC. Ron became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies with a major in finance and economics from the University of Western Ontario.
Seamus Tivnan , Director, SRS Cayman
Seamus is responsible for new business development and relationship management for SRS Cayman. He has over 17 years experience in the captive insurance industry. Seamus was most recently Managing Director of Marsh's operations in Cayman, a position he held for eight years. He started his captive career with Johnson & Higgins in 1991 before moving to Marsh in 1996. He was Head of Office of Marsh Management Services Hawaii for a brief period in 2000 before becoming manager of Marsh's Cayman operations later that year. He joined SRS in 2008. He has served as a member of the Private Sector Consultative Committee (an advisory body to Government on all major legislation) and was a member of the executive committee of the Cayman Insurance Managers Association, serving as Chairman during 2004 - 2006. Mr. Tivnan is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Derick White, President, SRS (Vermont) Ltd
Derick is responsible for the oversight of SRS’ clients and staff in Vermont and actively supports the development of SRS’ East Coast operations.
He has been in captive insurance since 1989. Prior to joining SRS, Derick was the Director of Captive Insurance for the Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities & Health Care Administration. There he was responsible for the administration and regulation of captive insurance companies and personally reviewed over 550 captive formations. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Vermont Insurance Institute and on many NAIC committees and working groups and is a frequent speaker in the captive insurance industry. Mr. White received his BA in Economics from the University of Vermont and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Examiner.
Ann Wick, President, SRS (Vermont) Ltd
Ann is responsible for the oversight of SRS’ clients and staff in Arizona and the development of SRS’ West Coast operations. She has been a captive manager since 1984. Prior to joining SRS, Ann was responsible for the overall marketing and management activities of AIG Insurance Management Services, Inc., AIG’s domestic captive operations. Ann has formed and managed a wide variety of single owner and group captive types and has worked with clients from most industries.
She is a Director and Vice President of the Arizona Captive Insurance Association and is a past President of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association. Ms. Wick received her CPA designation in 1984 and graduated from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. |
