Brady Young, Managing Director and President
Brady is a founding member of SRS having been with the company since its inception in 1993. During this time he has established SRS in a leadership position in the alternative market. He is responsible for the overall strategic development of the firm. Together with Brent Clark, he led the management buy-out of SRS to establish the company as an independent entity in August 2002. Brady has over 20 years experience in the captive, alternative risk and risk management industries. Prior to SRS, Brady was a Principal with Tillinghast – Towers Perrin, a leading risk management consulting firm, where he managed the London, Boston and Toronto offices. Brady has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Insurance degree with studies in international business from Georgia State University.
Wayne Cowan, Director and Vice Chairman, SRS Cayman
Wayne is responsible for new business development and relationship management. Wayne was the former Managing Director of JLT Cayman. Prior to leading JLT's Cayman operations, Wayne was the Managing Director of Johnson and Higgins and Marsh's operations in Cayman. He has served as an active member of the Private Sector Consultative Committee (an advisory body to Government on all major legislation) and was a member of the executive committees of both the Cayman Island Society of Professional Accountants (CISPA) and the Cayman Insurance Managers Association. Mr. Cowan is the Treasurer of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Patricia Henderson, Director – Corporate Services and Vermont Operations
Pattie is responsible for the management and supervision of client accounts, including financial and regulatory reporting and special assignments related to captive management programs. Pattie has over 15 years of experience in captive management, insurance accounting and consulting services. She has overseen captive programs for single parent and group captives, reciprocals and risk retention groups operating in all fifty states. Prior to SRS, Pattie was President and CFO of Sinser Management Services/Aon in Vermont. Pattie was valedictorian of her graduating class from Keuka College in New York. She holds an Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) designation.
Graham Lamb, Director - Bermuda Operations
Graham is responsible for providing accounting, financial, analytical and consulting services to SRS’s Bermuda captives. Graham has over 10 years experience in captive insurance and accounting. Prior to joining SRS, Graham was Assistant Vice President at Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) Ltd. for 5 years where he worked with captive insurance companies as well as taking on the role of Financial Controller for a UK subsidiary company based in Bermuda. Graham has also worked as a Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, Bermuda as well as an Assistant Manager at KMPG, Newcastle, England. Graham has a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
David Littlehale, Director
David Littlehale is responsible for providing accounting, financial, analytical and consulting services to SRS's Vermont captives. David has over 8 years of financial experience in captive management, consulting services and regulatory oversight. He received his CPA designation in Vermont in 1994 and in Massachusetts in 1992. He is a 1986 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Prior to joining SRS, David was an examiner for the Captive Division of the Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration, where he earned the classification of Certified Financial Examiner. Prior to that, he was a senior auditor with the Big 4 firm KPMG, LLP.
Kathryn Marsh, Director
Kathryn Marsh is responsible for the delivery of captive consulting services with a focus on the South East. Prior to joining SRS, Kathryn was Principal of Risk Design Group, a specialty alternative risk financing consulting practice. She has also been employed as a consultant within the Structured Risk Financing Group of KPMG and AON, where she headed the company's regional quantitative and alternative risk groups, and was Chair of the company's Captive Council. Kathryn has also spent a number of years managing captive insurance companies in Bermuda and was the Director of Risk Management for a major global computer manufacturer. Kathryn has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the College of Insurance in New York and a MBA with a major in Finance and Multinational Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
Michael O’Malley, Managing Director
Mike is responsible for the delivery of SRS consulting services, including statistical loss and exposure analyses, feasibility studies, and financial analysis for captives and other types of risk financing programs. Mike has over 10 years experience in the captive and insurance industries and has written several articles on captives and alternative risk financing techniques. Prior to joining SRS he worked as a Commercial Lines Production Underwriter for an insurance brokerage. Mike has also worked as a Staff Accountant for a large advertising firm. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in Finance/Economics from Bentley College and an MBA (magna cum laude) with concentrations in entrepreneurship and finance from Babson College. He holds Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations.
Ron Sulisz, Director, SRS Cayman
Ron is responsible for the management and supervision of client accounts, including financial and regulatory reporting and special assignments related to SRS's captive management programs in the Cayman Islands. He has over twelve years experience managing insurance companies. Ron is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Cayman Islands National Insurance Company Ltd (“CINICO”). Prior to being the CEO of CINICO, Ron worked in Bermuda, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands managing captive insurance companies for Marsh and HSBC. Ron became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies with a major in finance and economics from the University of Western Ontario.
Richard Winchell, Director
Richard is responsible for the management and growth of the company's Bermuda operations. He has over 25 years experience in operational management and the development of business and client services. Prior to SRS Richard worked as Vice President of Operations at the Bermuda office of Centre Solutions, a member of the Zurich Financial Service Group. He was also a Director of e Venture Centre, a Centre sponsored business incubator. Richard joined Centre having spent 20 years working for the Bermuda government where he ran the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo. During his tenure there they raised considerable funds, achieved significant growth, and received international recognition for their conservation and education programs. He has a BSc degree from Atlantic Union College and a MSc from Northeastern University.
